Baked BBQ Pork with Pastes

BBQ Pork

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Pork
  • 2 Tbsp Rose cooking wine
  • 3 Tbsp Brown sugar
  • Honey

Directions

1. Rinse the pork and slice about ½-inch thick.

2. Add the rose cooking wine and brown sugar then marinate for 15 minutes.

3. Add the Soy Bean Paste and marinate the dish for 3 hours.

4. Pour ½ cup of water into the baking tray, place the marinated pork on a rack, place the tray in a 375◦F (190◦C) pre-heated oven and bake for 25 minutes.

5. Remove the tray and move the pork to the grill; continue to cook the pork for another 20 minutes.

6. Spread honey on both sides, bake for 3 minutes, then remove from the oven and cut the pork into pieces.

Soy Bean Paste sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Soybean Paste, Regular
  • 2 Tbsp Gochujang, Korean Chili Paste
  • 1/2 tsp Natural Fine Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Shallot (chopped)

Directions

  • 1Combine sauce ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
